Quality Assurance

Revision, Review, Final Correction

We use a three-step quality assurance process: (1) revision (2) review and (3) final correction. Each project receives meticulous attention, thanks to the experience and efficiency of our team. This is one area where technology is no substitute. With 35 years of experience, the Canacom team understands how to deliver high quality translations that will ensure your project is a success.

*Revision, review and final correction are also offered as a stand-alone service.

The Three-Step QA Process

Revision

The reviser checks that:

  • All the text has been translated.
  • The translation is faithful, meaning that it conveys exactly the same message as the original.
  • The text satisfies the client’s linguistic standards and presentation requirements.
  • The client’s terminology has been respected.
  • Review

The revised text is then submitted to a reviewer for verification. This is done for objectivity. With fresh eyes, this person is uniquely positioned to spot corrections that may otherwise go unnoticed. He or she:

  • Reads the text to eliminate mistakes and typographical errors not already corrected.
  • Ensures that the text reads smoothly and is terminologically and stylistically consistent.
  • Final Correction

The text is then handed to an employee who:

  • Makes all corrections and changes requested by the reviewer.
  • Verifies the presentation of the text in the electronic file, modifying it if necessary to meet the client’s presentation standards.
  • Performs a spelling and grammar check.
  • We are also a member in good standing of the Language Industry Association (AILIA).

We are an experienced team ready to meet your needs.
